New Investment Firm Eyes Business From Abu Dhabi's Family Offices

A new investment manager is looking to better serve family offices in the United Arab Emirates.
(ADGM), the international financial centre in the UAE capital, has permissioned a new investment firm to set up shop.
– in ADGM, which granted it a licence allowing it to provide a range of investment activities including asset management, custody services, credit arrangement and fund management.
“The setting up of ADSI will be of benefit to a range of institutional investors and family offices as it dramatically increases our ability to manufacture and offer the products they are looking for,” Philippe Ghanem, chief executive and vice chairman of ADS Securities, said.
ADS Securities, established in 2011, has offices in London, Singapore and Hong Kong and is licensed to offer investment management services and investment product creation, it said.
